Tuscany is alot more laid back and quieter than any of the strip proprieties you mentioned. Weather in September should still be in the 90's (F) during the day. If you want 'walking around beer' or beer in your room, there is a little party store between the Tuscany and Strip (on Flamingo Blvd) that will be much less expensive than purchasing at a bar. You can get free beer while you are gambling - just tip the cocktail waitress a dollar or two each time she brings one to you. if you do not have any of these charges, they will release the hold when you check out and you will never even know it was there.īeer at Vegas bars is overpriced in my opinion. Most hotels will put a couple hundred dollar hold on your credit card when you check in to cover incidentals, room damage, charges to room, etc. Also, specify to driver to take Swenson out of the airport - tell him NO TUNNEL. Taxi from the airport will be more than the return trip due to the airport fee. It is not that far of a walk to the strip - about 10 minutes. They are set up in a Villa-type arrangement behind the main building that has the casino in it. Tuscany rooms are quite decent sized with little kitchenette areas in them.
